Shirley Murphy, (613.756.2093) owner of the Hummingbird Weaving Studio located at 134 Sandhill Drive, Barry’s Bay, Ontario, Canada, K0J 1B0, creates beautiful, hand-woven articles of clothing, elegant table linens and useful household items such as placemats, tea towels and rugs. Shirley has been weaving for 19 years. She was awarded an Ontario Hand Weavers and Spinners Scholarship in 1997 and studied in Georgetown under the tutelage of a master weaver. She also conducts weaving classes for children and adults in her Barry’s Bay studio.
